As a non-profit program, the Dover Children’s Home has provided services to thousands of New Hampshire children over the past 116 years. With severely limited state funding and annual budget cuts, monetary gifts and donations of any kind throughout the year allow the Home to provide year-round activities, services, and programming to the children that would otherwise be unaffordable.
Year-round, the Dover Children’s Home is always grateful to receive donations that help support the basic daily operation of the Home. In addition to monetary contribution of any amount, our current needs are job opportunities for the children; passes to local activities and events; postage stamps; hair-cutting services; deodorant; cleaning supplies; paper towels; toilet paper; napkins; and non-perishable food items such as past, cans of soup, crackers, granola bars, powdered drink mixes, salad dressing, peanut butter, fluff, condiments (ketchup, syrup, mustard, mayo); assorted teas, juice, boxed mashed potatoes, frosting, boxes of cereal, canned goods, Top Ramen noodles, and boxed cake, cookie, and brownie mixes.
