For more than a century, Dover Children’s Home has dedicated itself to the mission of caring for children in need. As a program designed to work with adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties, our Home provides a consistent and safe environment for the residents to work on issues and prepare to return to their families and communities.

Our residential services are designed to improve academic, social, and independent living skills. All of our services are delivered with the same level of caring and nurturing that the founders of the Home established 116 years ago.

The success of our Home is based on dedication and commitment. The board of managers and staff work with professionalism and passion to ensure quality services for each resident and family.

Without the steadfast support of so many generous individuals and businesses, the on-going success of the Home would be virtually impossible. Financial gifts, partnerships, and donated items of any kind make an immediate and positive impact on the lives of the children in our care. With severely limited state funding and annual budget cuts, these contributions allow the Home to funnel our limited resources into providing activities, services, and programming to the children that would otherwise be unaffordable.

Thank you to everyone who has embraced the Home with support, both recently and over the years. We are grateful for your compassion and charity. It definitely takes a community to raise a child.

The Dover Children’s Home looks forward to another 116 years of service to the children, families, and communities of New Hampshire.

The Dover Children’s Home is a 501(c) 3 public charity. Our non-profit tax ID number is 02-0223323.
